Peggy Hapner, RHIA, CCS
Consulting Services Manager
Peggy is highly regarded as MedLearn's technical quality expert for hospital
outpatient HIM services. As a senior healthcare consultant, she conducts
HCPCS/CPT coding quality assessments for several areas, including ambulatory
surgery, emergency departments and hospital-based outpatient clinics. Her
consulting services also encompass chargemaster rebasing projects and other
areas.
Peggy's expertise extends to MedLearn's seminars and publications. A former
community college instructor, she has presented seminars on outpatient coding,
medical records data quality and APCs. On the publishing side, she is technical
editor of MedLearn's CPT Coding Workbook, and she's a regular contributor
to our Reimbursement Management Update newsletter.
