Kim T. Charland, BA, RHIT, CCS
Vice President of Consulting

In her role as vice president, Kim's duties include overseeing MedLearn's
Consulting Services, ensuring the delivery of up-to-date and compliant consulting
products while directing the development of new products. She is also responsible
for the coordination of clinical information for MedLearn publications,
seminars and online training.
Kim's hands-on consulting work comprises several areas, such as APC management
projects, patient care services chargemaster reviews, hospital-based clinic
reviews, surgery and emergency department pricing projects, HIM CPT code
reviews, ED assessments, anesthesia services reviews, DRG reviews, physician
reviews, HIM operations reviews, and on-site training in ICD-9-CM and CPT
coding. She is also a seminar presenter and contributor to numerous MedLearn
books and newsletters, as well as to industry publications. Kim has been
very active in professional associations.
