Consulting Services Manager
In her role as consulting services manager and physician services technical expert, Kathleen oversees a variety of difficult issues involving: practice management, facility component reporting, wound clinic reviews, and observation/72 hour rule reviews. She also does extensive work with emergency departments, inpatient chargemaster reviews and geriatric services.
Kathleen is the technical expert for the Physician Services Group and is
responsible for technical quality of this Consulting Services area. She
has designed and conducted procedural seminars for physicians and institutional
staff throughout the United States, provided auditing of patient medical
records to ensure compliance with CPT and ICD-9-CM code selection and governmental
and insurer coding/reimbursement regulations. She has developed emergency
department seminars for physicians and has conducted seminars for physicians,
staff and hospital personnel on the basic and advanced CPT and ICD-9-CM
classification systems; orthopedic coding; cardiovascular coding; OB/GYN
coding; and emergency medicine coding. Kathleen develops and provides specialized
client requested workshops.

Previous Experience
- More than 20 years experience as a registered nurse.
- Nursing experience includes public health nursing, critical care, emergency
department, orthopedics, oncology and geriatric nursing in private facilities
and hospice areas.
